"c420"

The High Performance International 420 is one of the hot Junior Class boats in North America.

It is especially popular on the East Coast and was a fore runner to the Club 420, probably the most popular junior boat in all of North America. With North Sails worldwide contacts and design input, we continue to help refine the International 420 sails for top performance.

Today there are 2800-3000 Club and Collegiate 420s in over 300 sailing organizations. From Maine to Long Island, to the Chesapeake, to Florida to the Great Lakes, and even to the Pacific Coast, the class is growing at a torrid pace. Growing because it's an affordable, rugged, competitive, and most of all, fun boat to sail and race. Ask the kids who team race C420s in Vineyard Sound, any one of the 185 crews who raced at the North Americans this year, or the many student sailors who revel in the intensive team and fleet racing at the intercollegiate (ICYRA) and interscholastic (ISSA) levels.

The Club 420 is the junior boat of choice at more and more schools, clubs, and sailing organizations across America
