The Walter Rowe Trophy is to be awarded semiannually to the junior helmsman (boy or girl) in who is 17 years of age or younger on the first day of the series and who places highest in the series standings. It is to be awarded if five or more yachts participated in the Blue Jay Class.
This deed of gift may be modified by the Board of Governors of the Frostbite Yacht Club, Connecticut River Squadron, but it shall always remain a junior sailing trophy.
